This will be the 3rd time (1989, 1997 and 2016) that Saga is hosting the FAI World Championships.

Today, Saturday and Sunday are practice flying days. The competition will constist of morning and afternoon flights over 7 days (Monday, 31 October - Sunday, 6 November). In the past the Worlds has run over 5-6 days, so this year will hopefully allow for many flights and a lot of tasks. 105 pilots from all over the world and will compete each other!
