Bio
It was Kim's mother who suggested he might be interested in drone racing - and it turns out she was right! He began in 2018 and quickly realised he had a natural talent. Dedicated to his training and competing, he especially enjoys the competition atmosphere and racing alongside the best at international competitions.
With a philosophical attitude, Kim always takes something away from each experience, whether he wins or not, saying, "I feel rewarded for all the practice I've put in, even if I lose, I always learn something, which motivates me to become a better version of myself."
His most memorable competition was in 2023 at the FAI World Drone Racing Championships where he placed 4th overall, despite being a junior competitor.
Other activities
Dedicated to his sport, Kim decided to switch to homeschooling to follow his dream, and follows the General Educational Development and English as a Foreign Language study programmes to broaden his horizons.
