Bio

He started out as a freestyle pilot but gradually Špaček got into racing and has now been part of the drone racing community for years, travelling all around the globe to compete since he started racing in 2018, meeting up with old friends and making new ones at each competition.

Building confidence at local FPV events in the Czech Republic, he participated in an international competition in Slovakia in 2017, finishing in 3rd place. This success inspired him to start touring European stages of the FAI World Cups in 2018 where he finished 3rd overall.

Highlights from his career so far have been the FAI World Drone Racing Championship in China, and the Drone Racing World Cup competitions in Turkey. He also loved being part of The World Games in Alabama, USA in 2022, and says, "In addition to the adrenaline rush of chasing the fastest pilots in the world, I also really enjoy traveling for competitions in this hobby, when you get to see countries you would probably never go to in your life."

THE World Games 2025

What are your goals for The World Games this year?
"I don't have any expectations about the result position, I mostly want to enjoy the experience, travelling and meeting friends."

How often do you train?
"
I practice on the actual machine from morning to evening every weekend. On weekdays I mainly practice using a simulation. Once the season starts, I'd like to take part in as many competitions as possible to get used to competing."

What are your hopes for the competition?
"
I want to gain the sensations and experiences that can only be felt at a competition where people from all over the world gather, and use them in my future racing activities."
