The 2nd Pan American Paragliding Championship is on!
The 2nd Pan American Paragliding Championship started November 1st and last competition day is November 10th.
There are only 27 pilots competing even many more registered and intended to compete. The weather has been unfavourable with low clouds and rain, so no task has been set or flown yet. Many pilots went to Tafi del Valle (altitude 2200m) which is about 100km away from Tucuman, where the sun was shining and some pilots did short flights for fun.
Today, pilots went for the first time to the official take-off but the weather was not favourable with wind blowing from the back. The day was cancelled at 15.00. Tomorrow, the weather forecast is good and we expect to have a good tasks in the next few days.
